First Aid Training
Hall Star Education have teamed up Little Lambs First Aid, a Wirral-based business, offering first-aid and lifesaving courses for KS2 children, parents, teachers and childcare professionals.
As teachers and expectant parents we recognise the importance of knowing basic first aid and lifesaving skills. Claire and I attended the 3-hour awareness course delivered by owner and ‘flock leader’ Emma back in February. We loved her passion and found the content was extremely informative and relevant, as both professionals and parents-to-be. We have since teamed up to raise awareness and knowledge of both first aid and mental health to schools and other child-centred organisations.
Flexible Delivery
Similar to our mental health options, first aid courses can be delivered flexibly, through training days, staff meetings (including twilights) or parent workshops. We have 2 courses available, including a 3-hour basic awareness and 12-hour OfSTED recognised qualification. Both options can be tailored to the needs of the delegates or organisation.
Supported Charities
We are privileged to be able to raise awareness of mental and physical health and are delighted to be able to give a little something back.
For each attendee on a Mental Health course we will donate £1 to Young Minds, a charity dedicated to supporting young people’s mental health. For each attendee on a Physical First Aid course, £1 will go towards the Meningitis Research Foundation, a charity which bring together people and research to defeat meningitis and septicaemia.
