First Aid & Lifesaving Workshops
From September 2020 all primary and secondary school children in state-funded schools will be required to learn basic first aid and lifesaving skills. The updated Health and Education curriculum states that primary school children should know:
- How to make a clear and efficient call to emergency services
- Concepts of basic first-aid, for example dealing with common injuries, including head injuries
Hall Star have teamed up with a specialist children's first aid instructor to design interactive, engaging and age-appropriate workshops which will cover the curriculum requirements and further skills outlines below. First Aid and Lifesaving courses can be included within our school package, or as a stand alone service and could be funded through sports premium.
