Multi-Skills Development
Developed in partnership with 1st For Sport and other experts within the sector, the Level 2 Award in Multi-Skills Development in Sport (QCF) provides you or your sports coaches with an introduction to the processes and principles of supporting child development using a multi- skill approach.
The course will help learners support children’s successful participation in sport, learn how to design, deliver and evaluate multi- skills activity sessions, help children master the fundamentals of movement in a fun, imaginative and progressive way, building confidence and ensuring sport is more enjoyable for children and young people.
Content
The Level 2 Award in Multi-Skills Development in Sport is made up of the following 5 mandatory tasks:
Task 1: Principles of Coaching Multi-Skills
Task 2: Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS)
Task 3: Sport Specific Skills (SSS)
Task 4: Plan, Deliver and Review a series of sessions
Task 5: Delivery of an observed session
Delivery
The course involves a combination of online and tutor led delivery allowing learners increased flexibility to complete the course around their other commitments. Delivery will involve:
